Tenth LISA Symposium

Gainesville, Florida
20 May 2014

GW SIG at the 10th LISA Symposium at the University of Florida

The GWSIG meeting will start at 17:15 (Eastern time zone) on Tuesday, May 20th. If you are a registered participant at the LISA Symposium, you are welcome to join us (independent of your nationality). Otherwise you are invited to dial in (see GW SIG email sent by Guido Mueller).

We will try to post the presentations out before the meeting starts. Questions to be addressed in discussion are:

  • Where are we heading?
  • What do we know about the schedules and budgets of Athena+ (L2) in Europe and of WFIRST in the US?
  • How does these missions impact us?
  • What can we do and what do we need to do to ensure that a mHz gravitational wave detector will be launched at the next possible opportunity?
  • And what is this opportunity?
  • How do we interact with other international partners?
  • And, specific to the US, what do we do with the next Decadal in the US?
  • And how does this impact our partners?
