We are pleased to announce the XMM-Newton 25th Anniversary Conference, in Baltimore, MD, on 19 – 22 May 2025.
This conference will celebrate 25 years since the mission’s first light in early 2000, providing an opportunity for the X-ray community to come together and celebrate the many exciting discoveries made by, and yet to come from, one of our flagship missions. Conference topics will cover the wide breadth of XMM science, including but not limited to:
Additionally, there will be sessions devoted to the history of XMM-Newton, its synergy with current and future multi-wavelength missions, and its role as a pathfinder for future missions such as NewAthena and AXIS.
Abstract submission for contributed talks and posters is now open.
