6 August 2024
Registration for a virtual Town Hall for Mentoring and Opportunities in STEM with Academic Institutions for Community Success (MOSAICS) — formerly known as the SMD Bridge Program, is now open.
The Town Hall will be held on 12 August 2024, starting at 2p Eastern (11a Pacific), via WebEx. During the Town Hall, the MOSAICS team will update the community on the status of the program, including sharing an overview of the inaugural teams selected for seed funding from ROSES-2023, and plans for ROSES-2024 and 2025. The MOSAICS team will discuss the call for MOSAICS Seed Funding proposals, F.20 in ROSES-2024, currently accepting proposals. MOSAICS is a "no fixed due date" program that seeks proposals that will fund faculty and their students at emerging research institutions who seek to create new connections or strengthen their existing collaborations with NASA science and engineering researchers.
Registration is required no later than 6p Eastern (3p Pacific) on 9 August 2024, using this registration link.
The Town Hall is an opportunity for the community to provide feedback and ask questions. The event will use an on-line dashboard to capture questions before and during the town hall. Please use this to anonymously ask a question or upvote another’s question.
We expect to hold office hours from 1p-3p Eastern on Tuesday 24 September and Friday 27 September 2024, as well as Thursday 20 March and Wednesday 26 March 2025. More information about future events, including links to attend, will be posted under "Other Documents" at https://go.nasa.gov/mosaic2024seed and on the SMD Bridge Website at https://science.nasa.gov/smd-bridge-program/latest-updates/ once they are scheduled.
Please send questions and requests for reasonable accommodations for the Town Hall to hq-smd-bridge@mail.nasa.gov.
