PhysCOS & PhysPAG Session at the AAS Winter Meeting

The 243rd American Astronomical Society (AAS) Meeting (aka the “AAS Winter Meeting”) will take place in New Orleans, LA, from 7 – 11 January 2024. If you’re planning to attend, please arrange to arrive early, to attend a PhysCOS & PhysCOS Program Analysis Group (PhysPAG) session on Sunday, 7 January from 9a – 3p Central.

The program will include interesting discussions and talks about Roman Science, news from LISA and PTA results, XRISM and Athena updates, a new Science Analysis Group (SAG) about the Future of Gamma Ray astronomy, as well as reports from the Gamma-Ray Transient Network SAG and the TDAMM Space Comm SAG. News from the Inflation Probe Science Interest Group and their ideas for a new Science Analysis Group will be discussed. Last but not least, the new TDAMM Science Interest Group will present their plans.

A PhysPAG community outreach event is being planned for the evening of Saturday, 6 January with details to come.
