We invite the community to attend the HEAD splinter session on the Line Emission Mapper (LEM) Probe mission concept. The talk session will be in the Queen’s 6 room on Sunday 26 March 2023 at 12 noon Hawaii Time (6p Eastern).
The session is open to the public and can also be accessed remotely via Zoom.
LEM will probe the physics of galaxy formation and the cosmic ecosystems with an imaging soft X-ray microcalorimeter (integral field unit) with a large field of view and grasp. LEM will perform deep pointed observations and an all-sky survey. This session will include the following talks:
