The 22nd meeting of the AAS High Energy Astrophysics Division (HEAD) will be held 12 – 16 October 2025 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in St. Louis, Missouri. The science program for the 22nd HEAD meeting consists of a mix of 15-minute oral presentations and posters.
Call for Contributed Science Abstracts. Meeting attendees can submit one abstract for either an oral or a poster presentation. Please note that due to time limitations, not all requests for an oral presentation can be honored. Contributed science abstracts for oral or poster presentations must be submitted by 13 June 2025. Call for Splinter Meetings. Splinter Meetings are science or programmatic meetings scheduled by organizations or groups, and they are typically held in parallel with the main science program of the HEAD meeting. Splinter meetings usually require separate meeting spaces and may require A/V support and/or catering. Proposals are due by 13 June 2025. Submit a Splinter Meeting.
Call for Special Sessions. HEAD members may propose Special Sessions to discuss scientific topics of interest to the HEAD community. Sessions are 90 minutes and usually include 3-6 talks, and they may feature topical talks by multiple speakers, or a panel discussion, or other presentation formats. Special sessions are usually scheduled as parallel sessions in the main HEAD program and are held in the main HEAD meeting auditoriums. There is no cost to the organizer for audio/visual support.
