Data from the first year of operations of the HaloSat CubeSat have been released through NASA's High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) and represent an allowed data source for proposals to the Astrophysics Data Analysis Program (ADAP) beginning in 2020. HaloSat is a CubeSat mission launched on May 21, 2018, and deployed from the International Space Station on July 13, 2018. The mission is designed to map the entire sky in a series of roughly 300 wide field-of-view observations, providing a full sky mapping of emissions at X-ray wavelengths of hot gas in the galactic halo. The HaloSat archive contains all information, data, and calibration information necessary for download and analysis of the HaloSat data, including housekeeping, spectra, filtered and unfiltered data, and satellite attitude information. The trend data also provides TLE (two line elements) orbital characteristics.
