Upcoming Call for Community Input into the TESS Extended Mission Planning

NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission will be inviting the astronomy community's input on science cases that should be prioritized in future extended missions. The format requested will be short 1 – 2 paragraph science pitches. The draft call for community input can be viewed here [PDF]. The final text for the call is anticipated to be released before 1 May 2024, and the deadline submissions is anticipated to be 14 June 2024.

TESS science spans many areas of astrophysics and solar system science. As such, researchers from around the world, across all career stages, positions, and types of institutions are encouraged to submit their ideas. Please contact tesshelp@bigbang.gsfc.nasa.gov with any questions.
